The purpose of this level is orientation. Students will learn the general structure the class, basic commands, the importance of self-defense and some basic combinations 'of self-defense moves.
The student should be familiar with and able to perform any of the moves on the curriculum sheet. Student should be able to stand in Chunbi position for one minute without moving. Minimal proficiency is required.
Practicing 5-10 minutes 3-4 times a week is plenty for this level. The goal is to start a practice habit.
Usually 4-6 weeks. Testing will take place in class as students are ready.
