Pinan Shodan (1st degree)
From chunbi position
- Down block, turn to left 90 degrees, re-enforced high block (right
on top). Pull in to your left side, kick right, punch left.
- Look over right shoulder, Turn 180 degrees, reinforced high block
(left on top), pull in to your right, kick left, punch right.
- Circle with your right hand, sliding your right foot back into a
"cat stance", kick left, punch left.
- Scoop 180 degrees across the right side of your body
(barly touching
the floor). Kick right, punch left, spear hand right.
- Spin 270 degrees sudo block with your left. Step with your right to
the corner sudo block with your right hand, step with your right to the
opposite side (aprox. 180 degrees) sudo block with your right hand, step
left to the corner sudo with your left hand.
- Circle left "cat stance" kick right, punch right.
- Circle right, kick left, punch left.
- Stack hands on your left side, lunge forward, reinforced side block
with your right hand, eye strike right, punch left.
- Turn to your left 180 degrees to Charyo position.
- Turn to your left 90 degrees low block left, high block left, punch.
- Turn to your right 180 degrees low block right, high block right,
punch.
- End. Stay in punch position until told to return to chunbi position.
